I graduated from Cotton Valley High School in 1995 and then from Louisiana Tech University in 2000 with a B.S. in Medical Technology (Clinical Laboratory Science). I worked as a medical technologist in a clinical laboratory for 15 years before deciding to become a teacher. When I left the clinical laboratory, I was the Assistant Supervisor for Microbiology. I am currently working on my Masters of Arts in Teaching at Louisiana Tech University.
I have a B.S. in Medical Technology and I am currently working on my Masters of Arts in Teaching at Louisiana Tech. I am on course to finish my Masters degree in May of 2018. Upon graduation, I will be certified to teach grades 6-12 science.
